Yes. Irish universities accept NEB +2 graduates for bachelor's degrees, usually with around 60–70% or a GPA of 2.8–3.2, plus IELTS 6.0–6.5. Students below that level can start with a foundation year.

Under the Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) you can currently stay 12 months after a Level 8 honours bachelor's and up to 24 months after a Level 9 master's to look for work.

Tuition is roughly €10,000–€25,000 per year for most bachelor's courses and €10,000–€30,000 for most one-year master's courses. You also need to show at least €10,000 per year for living costs.

Most Irish universities ask for IELTS 6.0 to 6.5 overall with no band below 5.5 or 6.0. PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT are also widely accepted. Hub International runs IELTS and PTE classes in Kathmandu.

Yes. Students on Stamp 2 can work up to 20 hours per week during term and up to 40 hours per week in holiday periods (June to September and 15 December to 15 January).

No. Under the India–Nepal friendship arrangements, Nepali citizens can study in India without a visa. You will need your citizenship certificate or passport and your academic documents for admission.

Yes. Nepali students can study MBBS in India, typically after qualifying NEET-UG. Choose a college recognised by India's National Medical Commission and the Nepal Medical Council so you can sit the Nepal licensing exam after graduating.

Yes. The Government of India offers several scholarships for Nepali students through the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, and many private universities offer merit-based fee waivers. Hub International helps you find and apply for them.

IELTS Academic is accepted almost everywhere, including Ireland, the UK, Australia and Canada. PTE Academic is popular for Australia and New Zealand and gives fast results. TOEFL iBT is widely used for the USA, and the Duolingo English Test is accepted by many universities.

The test fee is set by the official test providers, British Council and IDP, and changes from time to time. Check the current fee on their Nepal websites when you book. Ask us for our current class fees.

Most students need 4 to 8 weeks of regular classes. Students starting from a lower level, or aiming for 7.0 and above, may need longer.

Not automatically. PTE suits students who type well and like a fixed format; IELTS suits those who prefer a live speaking interview. A diagnostic test in both is the best way to decide.

Most Australian universities ask for an overall PTE score in the high 50s to mid 60s depending on the course. The visa requirement is separate and can change, so check the current Department of Home Affairs rules and your offer letter.

Yes. Most Irish universities and colleges accept PTE Academic. Check the minimum score for your course on the university website.

Usually a passport, offer letter, academic transcripts, English test result, statement of purpose, bank balance certificate, CA valuation, income source and tax documents, relationship verification and health insurance. Each country adds its own requirements.

No. Nepali citizens can study in India without a visa. You need admission from an Indian institution and your citizenship certificate or passport.

After getting an offer from an ILEP-listed course and paying fees, apply online through AVATS and submit your documents as instructed. Applications from Nepal are processed by the Embassy of Ireland in New Delhi. You must show at least €10,000 per year for living costs.

Yes, but fully funded scholarships are very competitive. Most Nepalese students receive partial university merit scholarships that reduce tuition. We help you apply for both.

A No Objection Certificate is issued online by Nepal’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and is needed to send fee payments abroad through Nepali banks. Most students going abroad need one; confirm for your destination.

It replaced the GTE in 2024. You answer questions about your circumstances, why you chose the course and provider, and how it helps your future, so the Department can judge whether you are a genuine student.

Up to 48 hours per fortnight while your course is in session, and unlimited hours during scheduled course breaks.

A Provincial or Territorial Attestation Letter confirms you have a place within that province’s share of the national study permit cap. Most new study permit applicants need one; your institution usually helps you get it.

You must show first-year tuition, travel costs and the living-cost amount set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The amount is updated regularly, so check the current figure on the IRCC website.

No. Many non-degree college programmes must be in an eligible field of study, and the institution and programme must meet PGWP rules. Check eligibility before you accept an offer.
