Study in the UK from Nepal: Universities, Visa and Costs
The UK has some of the oldest and best-known universities in the world, and a one-year master’s is standard there, just like in Ireland. Nepali students mostly go for business, computing, data science, nursing and public health.
Many students we counsel apply to both the UK and Ireland in the same intake. The courses and costs look similar on paper, but the visa process, post-study work rules and job markets are different, so it is worth comparing before you pay a deposit.

Frequently asked questions
Can I study in the UK after +2 from Nepal?
Yes. UK universities accept NEB +2 graduates for bachelor’s degrees or international foundation years, depending on grades and subjects. IELTS 6.0–6.5 is typical.
How much bank balance is needed for a UK student visa from Nepal?
You must show unpaid tuition for the first year plus the Home Office maintenance amount for up to nine months, held for 28 days. The monthly amount is higher for London. Check the current figures on gov.uk before you apply.
